As a person who suffers from aphasia, I would like to tell you a little about it.

As June is coming to an end, and June is Aphasia Awareness month.

I guess that most know that Bruce Wills has aphasia, which is so sad.

So, what is aphasia?

A good question??

The best description I have found is “Aphasia is a language disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate.”

How would you like to wake up one day and someone said to you, that you have aphasia.

Would you be scared or worried or bewildered??

Yes, it happened to me, on the 8th January, 2020, by the way I had a stroke on that day.

The best I can come up with I was bewildered.

Actually.

To be correct I was pissed off.

I had no idea what the fuck was aphasia???  But I had to learn the hard way.

I belief that most people have no idea, what aphasia is, either

I really had no idea what my life was going to be from now on?

The first thing I realised was that I did not become stupid or dumb overnight, but I have aphasia.

But I was worried about not finding the next word while speaking to people and seeming like an idiot.

Please remember that having aphasia is a language disorder.

From time to time, I give you some insight to how I live with aphasia.
